My Experience Doing the change maker project.
The Change Maker project was one of the projects I actually enjoyed doing. At first I thought it would just be a normal assignment where we pick someone, research them, and present it. But once everyone started working on it and presenting, it became a lot more interesting than I expected. I liked learning about different people who made a difference in the world, and I especially liked hearing about the change makers that my classmates chose.
One thing I liked about the project was being able to choose a change maker. It made the project feel more personal because everyone picked someone they thought was interesting or inspiring. When I started researching my change maker, I learned about the things they did and the impact they had on others. I also learned about the challenges they faced and how they worked through them. It made me realize that making change is not always easy, but people can still make a big difference if they stay determined.
Another thing I liked was listening to everyone else’s presentations. Everyone chose different change makers, and that made the project more interesting. Some people chose change makers from long ago in history, while others chose more recent ones. Because everyone picked from different eras, we got to learn about a lot of different people and time periods. It felt like we were learning a lot more than if we all researched the same person.
I also thought it was interesting how every presentation was different. Some people focused more on the history and background of their change maker, while others talked more about the impact they had on society. Even though the presentations were different, they all showed how one person can help create change. It made me realize that change can happen in many different ways, depending on what someone is passionate about.
While listening to the presentations, I learned about people I had never heard of before. Some of the change makers helped improve civil rights, while others helped in areas like education, health, or helping communities. It showed me that there are many different ways someone can make a positive impact. I think that was one of the best parts of the project because it opened my eyes to new people and stories that I didn’t know about before.
Another thing that stood out to me was how brave many change makers were. In a lot of cases, they had to stand up for what they believed in even when other people disagreed with them. Some of them faced challenges or criticism, but they kept going because they believed in their cause. That made me respect them even more, because it takes courage to keep fighting for something when it is difficult.
I also liked that we learned about change makers from different time periods. Some of them lived a long time ago, while others lived more recently. It showed how change happens over time and how different people help continue the work of others. Sometimes a change maker started something important, and later people continued working on it. That helped me understand that progress doesn’t always happen quickly, but it can grow over time.
The project also made history feel more interesting to me. Usually when learning history, we focus on dates and events, but this project focused more on the people behind the change. Hearing the stories of these people made history feel more real because we could see how their actions affected others and helped improve society.
I also liked how everyone was able to share their work with the class. It made the classroom feel more interactive because we were learning from each other’s research. Instead of just reading information in a book, we got to hear different perspectives and stories from our classmates. I think that made the project more engaging and enjoyable.
Overall, I really liked doing the Change Maker project. It was a good way to learn about history and about people who made a difference. I liked researching my change maker and learning about the impact they had, but I also really enjoyed hearing about everyone else’s choices. Because everyone picked change makers from different eras and backgrounds, the project felt more interesting and meaningful.
In the end, the Change Maker project helped me understand that one person can really make a difference in the world. Even though change can be difficult and take time, many people throughout history have worked hard to improve things for others. Learning about these stories was inspiring and made the project something I actually enjoyed doing.
I would have liked if you addressed each of the 4 presentations. That is why Panopto is so good.
